English as a Second Language

Chinook’s Edge School Division welcomes students who come from many countries. These varied cultural and backgrounds add a rich dimension to our school division and to our schools. Students learning English will be supported at their community school through a range of programming options depending on English language proficiency and previous educational experiences.

Parents are encouraged to discuss programming options with their child’s teacher or with the school administration.
