Thank you for being willing to participate in surveys about the quality of education Chinook's Edge School Division provides for students. We are very interested in your feedback as it helps us know what is working well, and where we can improve.
The surveys are more fully described below.

Every year, Alberta Education surveys students, their parents and all teachers on behalf of schools and school authorities to assess what is working well and where there is room for improvement. The survey asks students in grades 4, 7 and 10, and their parents, about their opinions and experiences in school. The survey is administered between January and March.
Participants will be asked questions on a variety of topics, such as welcoming, caring, respectful and safe learning environments; student learning engagement; and parental involvement. The survey does not ask for names and cannot be used to identify individual participants.
Your feedback on these surveys helps us know what is working well and where we can improve. We consider your input as we develop our plans. Please note that if you answer ‘don’t know’ on the Alberta Education survey, it is considered dissatisfied. If you are unsure about any question, please contact your school, we are happy to help!

Chinook's Edge Surveys are intended for all parents and staff, and students in Grades 4 to 12. The division uses this survey to expand on some of the ideas explored in the Assurance Survey, and also to be inclusive of all grade levels. The questions on the survey align directly with the division goals and results will be used as part of our fall reporting process.
Surveys are administered in March and April each year.
