As the Division Principal, Jeff is responsible for Teacher and Leader Development. He supports the supervision and evaluation of new teachers in the division, works with universities to coordinate student teacher placements, and mentors new school administrators within the division.

Jeff has twenty-four years of school leadership experience in Chinook's Edge.  Prior to his former role as Principal of Bowden Grandview School, Jeff served as Principal of Westglen School where he also enjoyed roles as a vice-principal, teacher, and coach.  Jeff also played a role in the development of our quality learning environment framework and approach to instructional leadership as a division administrator for CESD during the 2011-2012 school year.  Before joining CESD, he taught at Pioneer School in Wild Rose School Division for six years.  Jeff has positively contributed to the culture in our school division in many ways.  He is a highly trusted leader who regularly helps mentor new administrators.  In addition, he has served on dozens of division-wide committees since 1998, helping the division to improve in areas such as careers, learning, technology, K-12 education and school leadership.    His educational background includes a B.Ed. in Secondary Education from the University of Calgary and an M.Ed in Educational Leadership from the University of Lethbridge.
