I have been a part of Chinook's Edge School Division for the past 14 years, in which 11 of those years I have worked as an educator and career counselor at Innisfail High School.

My educational journey began at Red Deer College/University of Alberta in their Middle School program, and will soon begin my masters degree with the University of Alberta in Leadership. 

My passion for supporting student success with academic and off-campus opportunities has led me to this amazing position of Career Connections Coordinator for the Division.

I enjoy being highly involved in every aspect of the school such as extracurricular activities, coaching volleyball, leading staff wellness, supporting students union, and graduation and prom leadership. 

I have also created strong career exploration programming for students using a wide range of work experiences, employment programs and post secondary transitioning practices.

My passion for connecting students to key career exploration strategies of dual credit, work experience, green certificate, and Registered Apprenticeship Programs has showcased to me how important and influential these opportunities are in our students' lives.

I currently live in Innisfail with my husband and two sons, I enjoy being physically active in aspects of running, hiking.
